What’s in a Symbol
Ok folks, it’s time for a little more speculation by your’s truly.
Now, I know you’ve all wondered about the ‘S’ symbol (No, not Superman’s ‘S’) that we’ve seen on Niki’s back, in Papa Suresh’s computer code and on the necklace around the neck of Mystery (Hollow him out) Man. Don’t deny it, you’ve wondered.
Well, I’ve wondered as well, so for you benefit/amusement I offer you a few of my possible explanations about the symbol.
1.) The symbol is not an S at all, but rather a portion of a double helix, representing the additional gentic markers that define our new friends as ‘Super”.
2.) It could be a stylized ‘S’ for Suresh. Mohinder’s Pops did a lot of work tracking down heroes to prove his theory and also seems to be involved with Horn-Rimmed Glasses at some point. wether willing or not to be decided.
3.) Could it be an ‘S’ for Sylar, our faceless serial kiler of superheroes? Not sure how that would work out since it appears on two people that seem unrelated to him at the moment.
At the moment the symbol seems connected to Horn-Rimmed Glasses more than anyone, although I won’t rule out individuals that may appear in future episodes. I kinda like theory one, how about you?
Horn-Rimmed Glasses. Symbol, Heroes, Suresh, Sylar

I’m thinking 1. But, it could also be all 3.

Hopefully, we’ll get to see something that might give a little more insight to the symbol.

The idea that it’s a part of a double helix, thus representing DNA, is the best theory I’ve seen yet.

That was kinda my thought on it. I’m wondering if it’s not also an indicator of which chromosomes are the ones that make them different.
