Tuesday’s Contest Post of the Day: Favorite Episode?

by

ppwparty2 Heroes has given us some exceptional episodes over the season and a half they have been on the air.  Some of the greats include “Company Man,” “.07%,” “Five Years Gone,” “Powerless” and of course the one that started it all, “Genesis.” Hopefully Season 3 will deliver more to add to that list.

It’s really hard for me to pinpoint my very favorite, but I’d have to say “Company Man” ranks right up there. What I want to know from you today is…

What is your favorite episode so far and why?

If you don’t know the name of the episode, just tell us what it was about or check out the episode guide over at Heroes Wiki to find the title.

Leave a comment telling us about your favorite episode and be entered to win one of our many prizes. We’ll have another post for you to weigh in on tomorrow so check back and enter again!  Winners will be drawn at the end of the day Friday, September 19.

(Contest open to U.S. residents only)

Hmm.. I pretty love them all, but I think I would have to say “Five Years Gone”. Because it full with action and adrenaline, and of course all the cool darkness that I’m so looking forward to see on Villains, Mohinder has a beard though, but.. he always looks sexy <3.

My favorite episode is “Five Years Gone” because it has Future Peter who is a bada$$. Future Hiro isn’t too shabby either.

How To Stop an Exploding Man. I know it gets alot of flack for not having enough of a ’showdown’. But I LOVED it because they all stood up and acted like Heroes. Even Nathan. That Nathan/Peter scene was so amazing and then Molly is walking to the ambulance and says “You can’t die Officer Parkman, you’re my hero.” *BIG HUGE TEAR* Love it. Don’t care what the haters say.

  5. AnnieB Says:

I loved Company Man and Four Months Ago - mainly because they both answered so many questions! I also really loved that Company Man gave us so much more insight into HRG and what makes him tick.

I enjoy it all, both seasons, though I find I tend to watch any episodes with Claude a bit more, not only because he’s my favorite but also as I’m trying to get inside his head. My top 3 are:
3)Company Man- it’s not just HRG’s back story but also Claude’s as well, 2)Distractions- Claude shows Peter a sample of the nastiness he’s seen while invisible and tosses Peter off the roof, and my favorite, 1)Unexpected- plenty of training scenes (not to mention plot twists with the other characters) and we see a lot more to Claude, we actually see him scared for the first time and his reaction gives one an inkling as to how big and bad the Company really is.

  8. Cari Says:

    “Four Months Ago”
I love this episode so much. It is fun going back and seeing where everyone was 4 months ago, but my favorite part of this episode is that we get to see the transformation from mild, slightly geeky Gabriel Gray to the scary serial killer Syler. Plus, it was the first episode we really got to see Zachary Quinto! :p

  9. Taylor Blue Says:

I think “Don’t Look Back” was my favorite. It being the second episode it laid down everyone’s story lines. I love seeing the relationship better Peter and Nathan!

  10. Nicky Says:

How do I choose? I have so many favorites. I really can’t rank them so I’ll list my top 3 favs: How to Stop an Exploding Man; Five Years Gone; and Homecoming…

But then there’s also Company Man… and Unexpected… and

Awww, man! How am I supposed to choose a favorite?

Then in second season, I really liked Four Months Ago and of course Powerless and Truth & Consequences (if that’s the one where HRG got shot) my only complaint about season 2 was wanting to see more of the Petrelli brothers together, that’s why Powerless was probably my fav of season 2. And I guess How to Stop an Exploding Man was probably my fav of season 1. Heh. I guess I’m a sucker for the season-ending cliffhangers. :)

  11. DustInc Says:

Wow, this is a tough one because I enjoy all the episodes! I really enjoyed the Five Years Gone episode in Season 1 because we finally got to meet Future Peter and Future Hiro! I thought the episode was really well done and the way that they gave us a glimpse of the ‘alternate world’ that could have happened was really cool.

I think from this last season Truth & Consequences was definitely my favorite with all the action and HRG getting shot.

  12. Jen Elliot Says:

That’s a tough one, but I think my favorite would be Five Years Gone. It was just cool to see what the future may hold, and for the characters to get a real grasp on how important it is to prevent this future from happening.

  13. Shawn Marshall Says:

“Four Months Ago”, it answered many of my questions and covered a lot of ground. “Company Man” and “Five Years Gone” are a close second and third though.
