Theories and Observations for “Kindred”

by Debbie

Reader Jenifer made a comment on the “Kindred” recap post about the car that Maya and Alejandro escaped in and it was something I already had noticed and wanted to bring to your attention. (Thanks Jenifer for your comment!)

They made a big deal to zoom in on the bumper sticker on the car, which just happened to be a Nissan Rogue. The bumper sticker says “Go Conquistadors,” which apparently is the mascot of Claire’s new high school in Costa Verde. Take a look at these images:

Also, I have a theory about our killer. I think it may be Claire’s new love, West. Evidence:

Notice West’s attire in the first school scene with Claire in episode 2.1. Is that a hoodie? I can’t tell for sure.

Kaito Nakamura’s killer in a black hoodie from episode 2.1.

Notice Claire in the background of the painting. It appears she is kissing a dark figure. Hmmmm.

And just for fun, my next theory…I think Sylar is on the LOST island. Observe:

Sylar’s jungle from episode 2.3.

The LOST jungle from episode 3.1, “A Tale of Two Cities.” Mind boggling ain’t it?

And did anyone watch Chuck on Monday? Did you happen to notice the clever reuse of sets by NBC?
