Rundown of the Latest ‘Heroes’ Season 3 News
Before I get to all the latest news on Season 3, I have to apologize for my absence and lack of posts over the last few weeks. I have this problem of not being able to say “No” and therefore get in over my head with projects and that’s exactly what happened this time. Now I’m back and hoping to bring you more frequent updates while we wait for the premiere on September 22.
Now back to what you’re really here for…Heroes Season 3 updates and spoilers:
Rumor has it that the Heroes team will be screening the Season 3 premiere at this summer’s Comic Con 2008. According to IESB, they will debut the season opener during the convention, which runs July 24-27. Comic Con has always generated good buzz for the show and Tim Kring is hoping for some more. ”We have to show our wares,” says Kring, ”If getting buzz means spoiling some things, I’ll take buzz any day.”
TV Guide’s (and soon to be Entertainment Weekly’s) Michael Ausiello reported that Jessalyn Gilsig, who played Claire’s bio mom in Season 1, will be returning for five episodes in Season 3. I think she’ll be a much better storyline for Claire than West turned out to be. How about you?
In a video interview at April 20th’s BAFTA Awards, Adrian Pasdar hinted that Peter and Nathan Petrelli may have another sibling. You can watch the video here (scroll down to find it).
Heroes Television has a whole slew of Season 3 tidbits posted. Check out their site for more details, but the biggies: Sylar may kill show’s biggest star! And Adrian Pasdar hints that some who we thought to be heroic will actually turn to the “darker” side.
