Angela Petrelli has a dream in which she sees all of the Heroes dead in the Company hallway.  We see Hiro with his sword run through him, Claire with a severed head, etc. She turns around to see Adam Monroe, Tracy (or is it Niki, or Jessica, or maybe Gina), Maury Parkman, and Knox . Sylar comes up behind her. She wakes up.

Angela visits Future Peter at his apartment, which is full of strings like we saw in Isaac’s loft in season 1. She demands that he leave because he’s screwing with the future. She tells him that it is his fault that Sylar got to Claire because he told her not to come to Odessa.

NUP_130945_0740Claire is filming herself being hit by a train.  She says she doesn’t even know if she is human anymore because she can no longer feel pain.  She says it is attempt #7 to kill herself. As the train approaches, Peter swoops in and saves her. Claire begs him to train her so she can get Sylar, but Peter refuses, all the while blaming himself for what happened to her.

NUP_130946_0319 Tracy and Tron the Governor talk about appointing Nathan Petrelli as the junior senator for New York. The Governor sends Tracy, his political advisor, to meet with Nathan. As she leaves, The Greatest American Hero a reporter confronts her in the parking garage.  He seems to think she is Las Vegas Niki, the internet stripper. She denies it and leaves.

Tracy visits Nathan in the hospital to ask him to take the senate appointment.  He thinks she is Niki. She says, "you think you know me."  "Biblically comes to mind," Nathan says.  She denies being Niki.  As she leaves, Linderman comes out of the shadows, but Tracy doesn’t seem to see him.  He tells him to take the appointment, and tells Nathan that she is not Niki.  We later see Nathan playing chess with Linderman.  A nurse enters and tells Nathan to go to bed. She can’t see Linderman either. What is he?  A Ghost? All in Nathan’s mind? Hmmmm.

Future Peter visits and tells Nathan the truth about shooting him and why. Future Peter realizes, though, that he may have made things worse. He asks Nathan for forgiveness.

NUP_130935_0242 Nathan calls Tracy to accept the job. The reporter is hounding her again, this time showing her video of Nathan and Niki having sex.  She gets angry and grabs him. As she touches him, he begins to freeze. He falls over, shattering all over the parking structure. Wowza!

Hiro hires a group of private detectives and discovers that The Speedster is Daphne Millbrook and she lives in Paris. Hiro and Ando teleport to her apartment where they find many, apparently stolen, works of art - including the Mona Lisa. Hiro finally confesses to Ando that in the future, he saw Ando kill him. Ando refuses to believe it was him, remarking that it could have been a robot or someone who looked like him.

Hiro is trying to think of something he can swap for the formula. Amongst all of the art, he sees a medal, first place in the 100 yard dash. He decides they will use it for an exchange.  Daphne arrives home and, after a silly game of cat and mouse, agrees to make a switch. Ando holds the medal as they start to switch, but of course, it is a trick. Daphne threatens Ando and Hiro gives in.  He confesses to Ando that he placed a tracking device the medal. They see her on a GPS.

Maya comes into Mohinder’s lab looking for him.  He’s there…hanging from the rafters.  He jumps down in an impressive acrobatic move. He shows her how he can climb walls.  Maya thinks that’s pretty sexy, especially since Mo has his shirt off and is all sweaty.  He and Maya kiss…and more. The next morning when he wakes up, he’s not feeling so great.  He goes to the mirror and finds that his back is full of oozing sores and his skin is peeling off.  [Bad side effect of the serum or evil VD...one or the other.]

NUP_130950_0603 Parkman has been wandering the desert and finally collapses. When he finally wakes up, he sees a turtle and hears a voice telling him to drink the plant. He thanks the turtle, only to find that it was actually a man talking to him.  The man knows Parkman’s name, and asks if he knows Britney Spears, because is his American after all.  He says this wasn’t in his paintings. Ahh…he is a future painter like Isaac.

Elle tries to convince Bob that she can catch Sylar.  He tells her that she’s not good enough.  She returns to tell her dad that they can lure Sylar to Level 5, but as she turns his chair around, she finds that Sylar has already been there and Bob is dead.  Elle goes to Level 5 and tells HRG she needs his help.  She tosses him a gun, and walks out, but is thrown. Bennet runs out to see what happened and finds Sylar there.  "Hi Noah. Did you miss me?"  He empties the gun on Sylar, but the bullets being to fall out as he starts to heal. "I got that from you’re Claire," he says. Sylar turns the gun to gold to taunt Elle and begins to cut open her head.  As he does, she causes a huge electrical surge, which knocks Sylar down….and unfortunately turns off the power to Level 5, freeing all the baddies.

Angela Petrelli arrives and announces that she is now in charge of The Company. She is not pleased with Elle, even though Sylar has been captured. She fires her, telling her that they only reason they kept her around was because of her dad. Future Peter shows up and tells Angela that he put Present Peter in the body of one of the villains. Angela orders him to find him.

Present Peter is in Jesse’s body.  He is traveling with three other Level 5 villains, Knox (who feeds on fear), The German (who can manipulate metal through the use of magnetic energy), and Flint, (who shoots blue flames from his hands). They are wreaking havoc while Peter/Jesse tries to get a message to Nathan.  Their ride arrives, and they leave.

HRG goes home and tells Claire about the villains, and tells her he is going after them. She wants to come be his partner, but he refuses. He and Sandra have plans to keep her safe.  Enter Meredith Gordon aka Claire’s bio mom!

Angela visits Sylar’s cell.  She calls him Gabriel and he freaks, shouting that his name is Sylar. He says, "you’re not my mother," but she says that she IS his mother.
