Ruminations:
I find this a VERY interesting development– Peter now has both Matt’s powers as well as the Haitian’s! Ooh, the possibilities!
It also lends some insight as to how Peter’s powers (picked a peck of pickled peppers) manifest themselves. His mentor in Season One implied that Peter mentally accesses his powers, once he’s in close proximity with another “Hero”, but it looks as if his access to his powers are more like an involuntary brain function (akin to a heartbeat or breathing), otherwise I would think the Haitian could have removed Peter’s access, given whatever threat he poses in Chapter 2.8.
I don’t think D.L. is dead– I think he’s reluctantly allied with the Company somehow– who else could have attacked Mama Petrelli and assassinate Kaito? He’s also given Linderman the Big Sleep– has he always been working for the Co.?
As much as I LOVE Hiro, I HATE the storyarc he’s in– it’s looks WAY too hackneyed! I started to dig it when he was playing Sancho Panza to David Anders’ Kenzei, but it looks again like he’s going to “save” history and his childhood mythology by supplanting Kenzei, and living out his history/destiny– eww. Benjamin Sisko already did this on DS9, and needed only two weeks to do it. argh.
Most interesting storyline for me is Suresh– Will he stay true to his principles or will he be seduced into drinking the Company’s Kool-Aid? THIS one’s got me on pins and needles!
I’m all agog, and awaiting next week’s episode!

Interesting observations Ebonvoice. I think you may be right about Peter. I’ve heard other people buzz that D.L. may not be dead. Another good candidate for the killer of the 12.
And yes, for heaven’s sake, please get Hiro out of feudal Japan. That has gone on waaaayyyy too long.
