More Season 3 News: New Cast, Old Characters & Spoilers
N’Tare Mwine has filled the role of the Aboriginal storyteller we mentioned last month. His character will be named Usutu. Usutu will appear in episodes 3 and 4 (at least), according to IMDB. Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first time N’Tare Mwine has played a role on Heroes. He played the terrorist Joseph Al Amir in the unaired pilot (which can be seen on the Season 1 DVD set).
IMDB is also showing the cast list for episode 1 of Season 3, “The Butterfly Effect”. From that info, we find that Brea Grant (villain Daphne) will make her debut in episode 1. Episode 1 will also bring us the return of regulars Nathan Petrelli and Niki Sanders, whose fates were up in the air at the end of Season 2.
Speaking of “The Butterfly Effect,” Kristin at E! Online posted some pretty juicy spoilers about a showdown between two major, fan-favorite characters which may involve one of them dying in episode 3.1. It’s a pretty revealing spoiler, so I’ll leave it behind the cut. Click if you dare…
Here’s what Kristin had to say:
…in the first three minutes one of the lead heroes is going to bust a cap off at one of the other lead heroes. And oh yeah, the guy she pulls the trigger on just might be the guy she’s playing tonsil hockey with in real life. She also tells him (on cam), “I always loved you.” Whaaa?! Figured it out? I know you have, so discuss in the comments below! Oh, and even more shocking? We’re gonna see Claire-bear with dark hair and this also involves a shift in time.
Sounds much like Claire will be shooting Peter, eh? Probably in an alternate future that the Heroes will try to change.

I was wondering when we’d get a look at this actor and character. Thanks.
