Heroes Quick News for February 13
WonderCon in San Francisco will have several Heroes-related guests. The convention, which takes place February 22-24, will feature Kristen Bell (Elle), who will be promoting her new movie, Forgetting Sarah Marshall; Thomas Dekker (Zach) promoting his new series, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles; and Tim Sale, the artist responsible for the paintings featured in the show. For more info, visit the Comic-Con International website and click on WonderCon.
Ali Larter (Niki/Jessica) can be seen on the cover of Shape magazine’s March 2008 issue. In an interview inside the mag, Ali explains how she keeps her heroic figure.
James Kyson Lee (Ando) will be making an appearance for Australian fans at the SupaNova Pop Culture Expo. The Expo travels to 4 different cities and it appears James is scheduled to be at all 4. The first occurs March 28-30 in Melbourne. Check their website for all the details.
Kristen Bell (Elle) has signed on to star in the Disney film When in Rome. She will play a love-starved New York curator who steals magical coins from a famous Roman fountain only to find herself in a bizarre situation when she is pursued back to New York by a band of aggressive suitors — the very people whose coins she took. It will start filming in April.
Dania Ramirez (Maya) was seen hanging on the red carpet at the Grammy’s Sunday night with BFF Kelis and Nas (along with an unidentifed woman shown here). They all sported controversial shirts emblazened with the word “Nigger,” which is reportedly the title of Nas’ upcoming album.
Former Invisible Man, Christopher Eccleston (Claude), has signed on as Destro in the upcoming G.I. Joe live-action movie, replacing David Murray. Apparently Murray had problems obtaining a visa in time to begin filming. The movie is expected to hit theaters in 2009.
