Heroes Joins Doctor Who, Torchwood as 2008 Hugo Awards Nominee
The 2008 Hugo Awards nominees were announced by Denvention 3, the 66th World Science Fiction Convention. The entire Season 1 of Heroes has been nominated for Best Dramatic Presentation, Long Form and is up against movie favorites such as Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, The Golden Compass and Enchanted.
Other TV nominees, in the category of Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form, include the Battlestar Galactica movie, Razor; Star Trek New Voyages, “World Enough and Time”; and episodes of Doctor Who and Torchwood.
