Friday’s Contest Post of the Day – Abilities?

by

ppwparty5 It’s Friday! The last day of our contest.  Isn’t everyone excited to find out who the winners are?  OK, for our last question of the day, let’s do an easy one.

Heroes is all about extraordinary abilities. Every fan has wondered what it would be like to have one of those abilities.  Myself, I’m always imagining what it would be like to have the power of persuasion.  I think it could come in very handy when trying to get my kids to clean their rooms or do their homework.  :)  So what I want to know from you today is….

If you could choose one ability, what would you choose?

Leave a comment telling us what ability you would choose and be entered to win one of our many prizes. Winners will be drawn at the end of the day today!

(Contest open to US residents only)

If you didn’t get a chance to weigh-in on the previous contest posts, it’s not too late!

Definately time/space manipulation. That way I could sleep in and still make it to work on time. ;) Plus, I could spend weekends lounging on the beach in Fiji, or pop over to France for some wine and cheese, or take a nice long afternoon nap, the list goes on and on. Can you tell I’ve thought about this before? ;)

  2. Tarot Says:

I’d want invisibility. There are some times when I just don’t want to be seen (or bugged). Granted I’ve been ignored a few times, for real, where I might as well have been invisible, but to be able to actually do it and have control would be cool. And bonus, I could find Claude :D

I have *always* wanted to be able to talk to animals! I mean, just imagine it! You’d get to know why they do the things they do, you could probably get some of them to do things for you… It would be great!

I’m surprised that no one has mentioned Peter’s mimicry ability. That’s the ultimate ability. If I had to choose just one ability that didn’t allow me to gain other abilities, then I would probably choose enhanced memory. It would be neat to be able to read a book and always remember every detail without having to go back and read it again. Knowledge is power!!!!!!

  5. DustInc Says:

Honestly, I’d take any of the heroes’ abilities, but I think the one that I would like most would be Matt Parkman’s ability. Not only could I listen in on what people were thinking all the time, I would be able to manipulate others just like Eden but without actually having to say the words. Maybe there’s more to this power than just those two things and we’ll get to see him expand on that power this season.

Hiro’s power would also be pretty amazing. Being able to go back in time and change things would be way too tempting though, (and we know what happens when you alter with the past in Back to the Future) so using it would be a little bit tricky!

Of course, the easy answer would be to have Peter’s ability, but that’s assuming that there were really others out there that had powers of their own. I guess if I’m the only person that had the superpower it would be sort of useless if there’s nobody to steal from! :)

  6. Jen Elliot Says:

Monica! I’d love to have her ability of learning something just by watching someone else do it. I could wake up and say “hmmm, today I feel becoming a master pianist”, look up a video of someone playing piano online and blammo! - I can play piano! I could learn to play every instrument, become a master chef, a martial artist, a painter, the possibilities are endless. That would be awesome.

  7. Shawn Marshall Says:

Invisibility, no doubt. I could sneak around when I want, where I want. No one to judge me, criticize, annoy me, get in my way. The power of persuasion would be pretty cool too, I could be like a Jedi!
