Dan Byrd Cast as Twisted Teen on Heroes
Dan Byrd has been cast on Heroes in the recurring role of troubled teen, David. EW’s Michael Ausiello describes the character as “a dark and twisted kid who tells lies easily and has a cruel streak.” Rumor has it that he may be a sort of apprentice to Sylar.
The role is a sharp contrast to most of the character’s Byrd has played in the past. Viewers might remember him as Justin on CW’s Aliens in America or as Mike in the short-lived CBS drama, Clubhouse. He has also done guest spots on Boston Legal, Ghost Whisperer, Joan of Arcadia and CSI.
Byrd is committed to appearing in at least three episodes during the fourth volume of Heroes, "Fugitives.” Emmy winner, Zeljko Ivanek, has also been announced as a recurring guest star. He will play the Hunter.
