The Paintings in the Series of 8

Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

Thanks to the screencap request forum at LostTV-forum.com, I have some better caps of the paintings from last night’s episode of Heroes, “The Line.” These clear up some of the questions I had about who was in which painting. Take a look!

This one definitely is Hiro (see the glasses) fighting Kensei.

Theories and Observations for “Kindred”

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

Reader Jenifer made a comment on the “Kindred” recap post about the car that Maya and Alejandro escaped in and it was something I already had noticed and wanted to bring to your attention. (Thanks Jenifer for your comment!)

They made a big deal to zoom in on the bumper sticker on the car, which just happened to be a Nissan Rogue. The bumper sticker says “Go Conquistadors,” which apparently is the mascot of Claire’s new high school in Costa Verde. Take a look at these images:

Official Description for Episode 2.4

Sunday, September 30th, 2007

heroes_season_2_promos1.jpgNBC has released the official episode description for the fourth episode of the season, “The Kindness of Strangers.” It will air on Monday, October 15.

AS SECRETS ABOUT THE PREVIOUS GENERATION OF HEROES ARE REVEALED, A NEW HERO EMERGES IN POST-KATRINA NEW ORLEANS — Between shifts at a local fast food joint, Monica Dawson (Dana Davis) begins to exhibit some unexpected new abilities unbeknownst to her brother Damon (guest star Carlon Jeffery), grandmother Nana (guest star Nichelle Nichols), and cousin Michah (Noah Gray-Cabey). Angela Petrelli (guest star Cristine Rose) makes a shocking confession as new information about the previous generation of Heroes is revealed. With Molly’s (guest star Adair Tishler) “boogyman” continuing to turn her dreams into nightmares, Matt (Greg Grunberg) asks her to put aside her fears and locate him on a map — with terrible results. Suspecting Claire (Hayden Panettiere) has a new boyfriend, H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) fears for the future. As they get closer to the U.S., Maya (Dania Ramirez) and Alejandro (Shalim Ortiz) make a grim discovery on the road. David Anders, James Kyson Lee, Masi Oka, Adrian Pasdar, Zachary Quinto, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Milo Ventimiglia also star. Randall Bentley, Ashley Crow, Barry Shabaka Henley and Jimmy Jean-Louis guest star.

NBC has released the title and description for the third episode of the season, which airs October 8.

“KINDRED”

10/08/2007 (09:00PM - 10:00PM) (Monday) : BOTH IN PAST AND PRESENT, SEVERAL HEROES MAKE SHOCKING DISCOVERIES — NIKI AND MICAH RETURN — Upon his return to New York, Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) is unnerved to find an undiscovered Issac Mendez painting that foretells death of someone close to him. Both Claire (Hayden Panettiere) and H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) pursue their own secret personal agendas. Determined to make it to the U.S., Maya (Dania Ramirez) uses her deadly abilities to free Alejandro (Shalim Ortiz) from a Mexican jail. Ando (James Kyson Lee) returns to his job in Japan and makes a happy discovery. Meanwhile, in Japan’s past, just when Hiro (Masi Oka) had written off Kensei (David Anders), his childhood hero surprises him. Niki (Ali Larter) and Micah (Noah Gray-Cabey) leave Las Vegas in an attempt to start over. Later, Niki and a lost Hero individually strike shady bargains to reach their goals. Two familiar people with abilities make an unexpected return. Dana Davis, Noah Gray-Cabey, Greg Grunberg, Adrian Pasdar, Zachary Quinto, Milo Ventimiglia also star. Upcoming Scenes (Spoiler Alert)

Wednesday, April 4th, 2007

MySpace has footage of scenes from the April 23rd episode of Heroes here. DO NOT WATCH IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE SPOILED. I watched it (of course) and where the first half is mainly a summary with a narration by Linderman, the last few seconds shows you something that you may rather wait to be surprised with.

(Hint: Totally Awesome.)

It also ended with an “ad” for the website ItsTimeToSaveTheWorld.com where there are other spoilerific clips of the upcoming episode.

Unexpected Synopsis

Thursday, February 15th, 2007

The next episode for Heroes, Unexpected, finally introduces us to the character Hana Gitelman, who made her first appearance in the wireless series in the graphic novels. Hana’s ability to intercept and transmit electronic information makes her an intersting addition to the Heroes cast.

Here’s the lowdown from TV.com:

Peter learns that he and Claude may have been betrayed. Matt’s reunited with the radioactive Ted Sprague and Hana Gitelman a woman with “wireless” mental abilities. Due to Linderman’s influence Niki and Nathan meet again, this time under very different circumstances. After someone Hiro knows dies, he makes a tough choice about his mission. Claire can no longer hold back her anger towards HRG.

Chrispian has also recommended Claires adopted mom as an addition to the deadpool for this season, due to her obvious scrambling from multiple encounters with the Haitian. I think he may be onto something.

Synopsis: The fix

Monday, January 29th, 2007

According to TVGuide.com, here is what we can expect from tonights episode of Heroes:

Hiro’s search for the sword takes an unexpected turn when his father (George Takei) appears; Claire decides to search for her birth parents; D.L. works to deal with his family duties; and Isaac dedicates himself to saving New York from Peter.

I’m looking forward to seeing George Takei as Hiro’s father. Hopefully there will be some really great chemistry between the two.

NBC.com is currently streaming all of the previously aired episodes from season one. They also have the pilot, which I don’t have recorded, so I will be checking it out to see if the insinkerator scene has been modified because of the Emerson lawsuit. For those of you who need to play catch up before the January 22nd return of Heroes, this is probably your best option. Head on over to NBC.com to check them out.
