Wondering what your favorite Heroes stars have been up to this month? Check out these photos to find out:
Greg Grunberg and the Band from TV were on hand for The 7th Annual Comedy For A Cure on April 6 at The Avalon in Hollywood. The show was put on as a benefit for the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance.
It’s been a few weeks since I’ve done a picture post, so let’s catch up with a few of the events the stars of Heroes have been spotted at over the last month.
Ali Larter attended the Inaugural Avant-Garde Gala hosted by W Magazine & LACMA at LACMA BCAM on March 8 in Los Angeles. She showed off her new engagement ring to photographers.
WonderCon in San Francisco will have several Heroes-related guests. The convention, which takes place February 22-24, will feature Kristen Bell (Elle), who will be promoting her new movie, Forgetting Sarah Marshall; Thomas Dekker (Zach) promoting his new series, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles; and Tim Sale, the artist responsible for the paintings featured in the show. For more info, visit the Comic-Con International website and click on WonderCon.
Ali Larter (Niki/Jessica) can be seen on the cover of Shape magazine’s March 2008 issue. In an interview inside the mag, Ali explains how she keeps her heroic figure.
James Kyson Lee (Ando) will be making an appearance for Australian fans at the SupaNova Pop Culture Expo. The Expo travels to 4 different cities and it appears James is scheduled to be at all 4. The first occurs March 28-30 in Melbourne. Check their website for all the details. (more…)
It’s Monday. Time to see what the Heroes stars were up to over the weekend!
Hayden Panettiere was in Berlin this weekend to promote her upcoming film, Fireflies In The Garden. Here she is on the red carpet for the premiere as part of the 58th Berlinale Film Festival at the Berlinale Palast on February 10.
I don’t have a lot of time today, so I’ll throw a little picture post your way. Here’s what some of the Heroes were doing over the weekend:
Hayden Panettiere was escorted by her younger brother, Jansen, to the premiere of The Spiderwick Chronicles at Paramount Pictures on January 31 in Los Angeles.
Heroes stars are keeping busy during the strike. In addition to work on other projects, they are staying hot in the social scene by attending parties and premieres. Here’s a few photos I’ve found from the past couple of weeks:
Zachary Quinto, Greg Grunberg, Noah-Gray Cabey and Masi Oka attended the premiere of Cloverfield at the Paramount Pictures Lot in Los Angeles on January 16.
Some of your favorite Heroes actors have their own “official” MySpace pages. Most of them are updated regularly and they are a great way to keep up with what is going on with them during the strike. This may not be all of them, but these are the ones that appear to be official:
The cast of Heroes will be making a special appearance at the Closing Day Event of the Jules Verne Festival in Los Angeles later this month. Nine cast members plus Heroes creator Tim Kring and writer/producer Jeph Loeb will appear on stage.
The big news, though, is that they will be screening the secret unseen episode which is the first chapter of the 3rd volume, “Villains.”
Yeah, I know, that title is waaaayyyy too goofy, but give me a break. It’s early! Anyway, here’s all that “news you can use.”
*TV Guide has an interview with Dania Ramirez up right now. Dania talks a little bit about Maya’s powers, the possibility of an on-screen romance, and battling Halle Berry in X-Men 3.
*GameLoft has released an official Heroes mobile phone game. The eleven level game allows you to play as Peter Petrelli, Hiro Nakamura, Niki/Jessica Sanders and Officer Matt Parkman. You can see screen shots and get more info HERE.
*George Takei (Kaito) has had an asteroid named after him. The asteroid, formerly knows as 1994 GT9, is situated between Mars and Jupiter. It has been renamed 7307 Takei by the International Astronomical Union’s Committee on Small Body Nomenclature.
*Ratings for Heroes second episode dropped off a little from last week’s premiere. ABC’s Dancing with the Stars won the 9 p.m. timeslot with a 13.8/20, CBS was second with Two and a Half Men, 8.4/12, and Rules of Engagement, 6.6/10. Heroes came in third (but was the night’s top show in the key 18-49 demographic). K-Ville brought a 3.7/5 over at FOX.
*The latest chapter of the Graphic Novel is up and it features The Haitian. We get to see what transpired between he and Mohinder and what happened between the time he left Mohinder and showed up with Bennet. The title is The Crossroads.
*Greg Beeman has a new blog up for episode 2. As usual, he has some awesome behind-the-scenes photos up as well.
*If you have missed either of this season’s episodes and need to catch up, full episodes are available online at NBC.com. You can also watch last season’s finale in case you missed it. Also, even if you’ve already seen the episodes, go back and watch with commentary.
*And finally, here is a 3 minute sneak peak of the upcoming 3rd episode, “Kindred.”
I told you earlier - the Heroes are everywhere. I have even more evidence to support my previous statement.
Masi Oka, everyone’s favorite Hiro, made an appearance on the Ellen show last Thursday. He talked about his Emmy date, Kristen Bell. Ellen asked if they were dating and if he had a crush on Kristen, but Masi wouldn’t dish. He said everyone has a crush on Kristen and they are great friends. He also talked about his 2000 Honda and why he’s still driving it and Ellen featured him in a “Men of Heroes” segment. Masi was charming and funny, as usual. Click to watch the video:
Ali Larter is featured in the October issue of Cosmopolitan. She looks fabulous on the cover. Inside the magazine, Ali talks about being a “Jersey Girl”, her boyfriend, Hayes MacArthur, her approach to diet and exercise and much more. Ali is also starring in the #1 movie in the country, Resident Evil: Extinction.
Prime Time Pulse chatted with 7 cast members and has posted the interviews in a “Heroes Week” series. They started last Tuesday with Nick D’Agosto who will play Claire’s love interest, West, this season. They also talked with David Anders (Takezo Kensei), James Kyson Lee (Ando), Dania Ramirez (Maya), Noah Gray-Cabey (Micah), and co-executive producer Jeph Loeb. The interview series wraps up tomorrow, and I believe they’ll be talking with Zachary Quinto (Sylar).
Finally, Hayden Panettiere will make an appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly on Monday. The show is syndicated, so check your local listings for time.
