Watching Heroes

The Heroes action figures are on target to be released in June 2008, but if you’re the lucky winner of The OWI’s new “Show Us Your Heroes” contest, you might get them early.

The contest begins March 3. All you have to do is send in a photo of yourself dressed as your favorite Hero. Fans will be able to vote for their favorites beginning on March 31. The top 5 will be reviewed by the sponsors of the contest, The OWI, Mezco Toys and NBC to decide on the grand prize winner. The winner will be announced on April 14.

The grand prize is shown below. It is an extremely rare, unpainted test shot of Mezco’s Series 1 Heroes action figures. There are only 5 sets of unpainted test shots in existence. (more…)

Amazon.com is giving away 90 Heroes decorated Xbox 360 game systems. Artist Tim Sale created the art used on the system and it’s sure to please Heroes fans and Gamers alike. Amazon will select 3 winners a day for 30 days. The contest began October 15 (sorry for the late notice) and runs until November 14. There’s still plenty of time to win! Just enter once and you are good to go for the rest of the contest!

Nod to Heroes-TV for the heads up!

Todd over at TV Bloggin makes it no secret that he’s not a fan of our beloved Hereos. However, he did take the time to post about the Heroes contest NBC and Nissan are having during premiere week.

All you have to do is watch certain shows, then go to www.nbc.com/nissan and answer the trivia question about the show. Each weeknight during premiere week, they will give away a brand new Nissan Rogue autographed by Heroes creator Tim Kring.

The shows you need to watch are on during the 9 pm Eastern/8 pm Central time period. Viewers will need to watch for a promo spot that asks a trivia question about the show they are watching. Here’s a list:

Heroes on Monday, 9/24
The Biggest Loser on Tuesday, 9/25
Bionic Woman on Wednesday, 9/26
The Office on Thursday, 9/27
Las Vegas on Friday, 9/28
