CBS Cancels ‘Secret Talents’ After Only 1 Episode

If you are one of the few who caught George Takei’s debut as a country singer on CBS’s Secret Talents of the Stars last Tuesday, you may be disappointed to know that you won’t be able to tune in next week to find out if he won.
The show, hosted by John O’Hurley, and judged by Debbie Reynolds, Brian McKnight and TV producer Gavin Polone, was axed after airing only one episode. The show drew only 4.6 million viewers, finishing a distant third for the night. It will be replaced with 48 Hours Mysteries for two weeks, then new episodes of the legal drama Shark will occupy that slot for the rest of the season.
George competed against country singer Clint Black and gymnast Sasha Cohen and viewers were asked to vote for their favorite. We may never know who was chosen to move on. And the real tragedy, we’ll never get to see Danny Bonaduce ride a unicycle.
